Chemalskoe Podvorye is located in the centre of the village of Chemal in the Altai Republic and offers everything for a comfortable, relaxing stay — whether you travel solo, as a couple or with an organized tour group.

The complex is a new two-storey building with cozy double and triple rooms — Standard, Junior Suite and Suite — all with private facilities. A welcoming restaurant with an indoor hall and a summer terrace serves a varied menu of traditional dishes and meals made from local farm produce, and there is a genuine wood-fired Russian banya.

Chemalskoe Podvorye is built from solid Siberian cedar logs that keep the aroma and natural benefits of this mighty tree. Cedar phytoncides are believed to relieve stress, calm the nervous system and promote deep, healthy sleep.

After the bustle of the city, busy workdays and long mountain roads, we hope you will find rest with us — and we will do our best to make your stay comfortable, cozy and full of good food!

A very good hotel with a cozy interior and attentive, helpful staff. Delicious food and a varied menu with maral (Altai deer) and grayling dishes, a wide choice of salads and a separate kids’ menu. This is a wonderful place! Cozy rooms and a warm, homely atmosphere — it feels like staying at a country house. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is beyond praise: I tried maral (Altai deer) meat for the first time, and it comes in so many variations! Hard to choose!

Delicious and varied breakfasts, and they can pack a lunch box for you if needed. Very cozy rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains — which you can even climb if you like. 😊 The rooms have everything you need. Clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the village centre: shops and the bus station are all within walking distance.
Highly recommended.
